She is currently working on her championship.

"Edie".
She is a most warm and loyal girl. I new she was great but motherhood  is not for all bully bitches. Even the most docile female can show a side not so becoming towards her own pups. This was not the case with our girl. Thankfully.
My husband and I spoke of her warm nature and of how she would make a great mom.We spoke openly in front of the kids about how we would like to have "Edie bred". The pros the cons.Should we breed her. With whom should she be bred etc.
One early morning my oldest daughter approaches still in her p.j.s. One hand is rubbing her eye will the other is clutching what appears to be a slice of  bread in the other. I ask her if she is going to have toast for breakfast. She replies       " Can I be the one who gives Edie the bread  so she can have puppies"?
Getting Edie bread! Getting Edie bred! true story.Having bull terriers opens up so many life situations.  I had "the talk" with my daughter that day.

pups will rely on mom's milk for 3-4 weeks

When "Edie" our first bull terrier came into our lives 5 years ago, I had no idea of what was in store. I am truly taken with this breed. I have had the honor of helping her whelp two beautiful liters of pups. Some show pups and some pet pups. Each just as spectacular as the other. We are planning on having "Edie" spayed now as we know when to count our blessings.
We have been blessed. This breed does not hold any records for an easy breeding process. On the contrary. From impregnation to whelping. It is a roller coaster ride. The entire process, for one healthy liter, can take years.

Her temperment is exceptional.

Edie loves to snuggle.

Pups need to be with their mom for a minimum of 8 weeks.

A female bull terrier will have an average of 3-5 pups per liter.
